Kaivalyananda spends months each year studying and practising in India and has been fortunate to learn from several wonderful teachers there including his guruji Yogi Ashokananda, as well as Vinay Kumar, Balu Thevar, Dr Upendra Babu Khatri, Ty Landrum, David Robson, Deepika Mehta and Mark Robberds. He has also been inspired by his father Donald MacInnes who is a Reiki and Qigong Master and 8th Dan in Shotokan Karate.
Currently, his time is spent teaching yoga and energy healing between Spain, Scotland, Jordan and India to individuals, groups, athletes, international organizations, embassies and UN agencies. He also trains yoga teachers on teacher training programmes.
Predominantly, Kaivalyananda teaches Prana Kriya Yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Reiki in the form of regular classes, workshops and retreats. He is the only teacher in the world authorized to run Prana Kriya Yoga foundation courses and is the only authorized Prana Kriya Yoga teacher in Spain, Scotland and Jordan.
In addition to teaching, he offers private yoga, therapy and healing consultations to those who require more personalized attention.
